The suction cups

- The principle of cupping is to allow the "QI" energy to circulate normally in the body -

After creating a vacuum inside using a vacuum cleaner or a vacuum pump, the suction cup is applied to the skin.

The suction creates a “liberating” call for blood: the skin gradually takes on a purplish color, a sign that the suction cup must be removed.

It is not uncommon to see a bluish-red circle appear

where the suction cup was placed. This is a harmless bruise that never lasts more than a few days.

A light scratch is made on the skin before applying the hot or cold suction cup. This method is particularly indicated for acute inflammatory and joint pain and migraines.

They can be hot or cold.

Cupping can be used hot or cold.

Hot cupping represents the majority of cupping practice.

Cold suction cups will be used when hot suction cups are difficult to apply, due to complex or cramped anatomical topography or the presence of abundant capillary at the application site.
