Foot reflexology

- 7900 innervations come to the feet -

Foot reflexology comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine, just like energy in Chinese Medicine, reflexology will have an action on the meridians and therefore on the energy of the person who receives a foot massage session.

The Chinese, who studied the body more than 3000 years BC, have known for a very long time the importance of the circulation of energies in the body and also the importance of reflexology at the level of the feet. Moreover, it is very common to see Orientals massaging their feet in the morning, after meals, or even before going to bed.

It was not until 1900 that reflexology appeared in the West. This concept is all the more important because, as we see in our daily lives, we walk on Earth and our feet are constantly moving and in action with the ground, supporting the weight of our body as well as the deformations of the places we move around.

7900 innervations come to the feet and are in direct relation with the organs, the entrails and the functions of the body like the glands or even the senses, sight, taste, touch, hearing and smell.

The Chinese discovered QI (energy) through the toes, where they begin and end

3 Yin meridians and 3 Yang meridians.

We must always think that this energy is like an electrical network which, when everything is going well, provides our body with the energy necessary for our daily momentum, our vitality, our Qi.

WE PERCEIVE ON THE LEFT SIDE AND WE "EMIT" ON THE RIGHT SIDE

To perform a good massage, you must first sit comfortably with your spine straight and rub with your thumb, applying varying pressure depending on the individual.

Through this movement, we send a stimulus, which will mobilize the energy so that it goes directly to the targeted organ.

It is better to start the massage from the left side, which is the part of the body corresponding to the reception.

The duration of the massage varies depending on the person and the desired outcome.

Reflexology will be connected to the autonomic nervous system. It controls the involuntary functioning that we call neurovegetative connected to the organs, muscles and glands.

- The parasympathetic system

- The sympathetic system

IT IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS:

description of the whole of plantar reflexology

When an event disrupts this functioning, the sympathetic system accentuates these impulses and disrupts the proper energetic organization.

In this case, the parasympathetic system plays a regulatory role in order to restore the situation.

All this to explain that, when we act on massage areas of the foot,

It is not only a question of a reflex zone but of a transmission of information, which following an impulse due to touch will transmit an electrical reaction to the central nervous system via the sensory neurons which will cause an induction, a reaction.

Every circulation of energy is life, when an energy is blocked, it means dysfunction and disharmony of a part of this fantastic organization.

It's as if we cut the wires of an electrical circuit and were surprised to find that there was no light in our home.
